LIVE from the TAR Pit!

The BCA Pool League is very pleased to host the first Action Challenge Las Vegas, produced and broadcast LIVE on the internet by Justin Collett and Chad Pollman of the The Action Report (TAR).

As we go to press, two major Challenge matches are already confirmed.  The first Challenge is Scott Frost representing the U.S. vs. Darren Appleton of England battling in a series of grueling races on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 8-10.

The Action Challenge Las Vegas main event is Shane Van Boening of the U.S. vs. Alex Pagulayan of the Philippines in a rematch for $20,000, playing 10-Ball race to 100, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, May 11-13.

Shane is the BCAPL representative and all Challenge participants are pool attractions in their own right.  If you can’t make to Vegas during those days, please plan to watch action live on www.theactionreport.com or www.playbca.com

More information will be available at the tournament.  All the action will take place in the “TAR Pit,” located directly across the hallway from the tournament desk in the Grande Ballroom.  With 96 of the world’s best on hand, and leading pros hanging in the TAR Pit for practice between their tournament and TAR matchups, other power matches are certain to erupt.

There were some great matchups during the recent Derby City Classic (Louisville, KY) and U.S. Bar Table Championships (Reno, NV).  In fact, a DVD set of a $20,000 match between Shane Van Boening and Alex Pagulayan at the Derby has been selling like hotcakes on TheActionReport.com since they were made available in January.

TAR also wants to interview some of our BCA Pool League amateur winners too, and broadcast live interviews with the “man on the street.”  They would like the amateurs to step up to share the stage with the pros in “The Greatest Pool Tournament in the World!”
